More Than Money: The County Treasurer’s Role in Supporting Our Workforce

Most people think of the County Treasurer as “the person who handles the money,” but this office, in our county, is also deeply connected to the wellbeing of the people who serve our county. In many ways, the Treasurer’s work supports not just finances, but also our county workforce.

Our county employees are clerks, road crews, dispatchers/jailers, deputies, administrative teams, judicial support, and so many others who keep San Saba County running every single day. They deserve support, professionalism, clear processes, and leadership that values their contributions.

Part of strong financial leadership is also strong people leadership.
That means:

 Responsible management of employee-related funds

 Supporting fair, consistent processes

Encouraging practices that help retain great employees

Good financial policy and good HR policy go hand in hand – and both matter to taxpayers. When government employees are supported, respected, and able to do their best work, our entire county benefits.

Qualified Financial Leadership. Proven Public Service.

I’m ready to serve both our budget and our people.
